Grandparents day celebrated at Saint Joseph School

When it seems the world can’t understand, Your Grandparents are there to hold your hand” And to show their gratitude towards their grandma and grandpa, the tiny tots of Nursery in St.Joseph’s Sr. Sec. School, Sector 44 Chandigarh celebrated Grandparents Day that was solely dedicated to them. The august guests were welcomed with handy cutouts as the souvenir of the day. The merriment commenced with a spiritual note followed by a welcome song by the little ones who were highly excited to entertain their maternal and paternal grandparents, for which they had practiced so hard. Little angels presented songs and dances expressing the special bond that they share with the eldest members of their families.

A number of interesting games were also a part of the celebration in which the grandmothers and grandfathers participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. Some elderly guests shared their experiences and views regarding the bringing up of their children and grandchildren. They also shook a leg with their little ones, enjoying the spirit of youthfulness once again. Posing and clicking selfies with their partners as a part of a game, was an unforgettable moment for them. School Principal Monica Chawla greeted the grandparents, shared some anecdotes and thanked them for taking out their precious time to witness and motivate their grandkids. This special day marked with a lot of fanfare, was loved and appreciated by the elders who enjoyed themselves abundantly with their dearest offsprings.
